My husband and I wanted to grill some chicken we had in the freezer. We bought a large pack of thighs and drumsticks. I love to grill. My dad and mom taught me to grill when I was fairly young. I loved to go and watch them grill all the food. My husband on the other hand was never taught how to grill. I think he just didn't like to be in the smoke. Don't tell him I said that. He can be dainty. I don't mind the smoke, it gives me an outdoorsie smell. Yeah I said outdoorsie. It smelled so good while it was cooking just look....
It was getting dark outside and I have a puny camera so it is blurry, but you get the idea. I wish we had scratch and sniff. Go ahead scratch and imagine the smell of bbq chicken grilling. Yum.
It was as good as it looks.
The smell of these were so intoxicating that my poor dogs just stood next to the table so they could just inhale the aroma.
Gracie. She is a little dark.
Poor Buddy he is just begging. One piece would not be so bad. Then that would mean one less piece for me. Sorry Buddy.
Side note: My husband is not "dainty". He will go and mow the jungle in our back yard in the middle of the day while it is CRAZY hot and very humid. I on the other hand will barely stick my big toe out in the heat. I end up with weird marbleing on my legs from the heat. I'll put pictures of that soon. It was really strange, like red waves.
My name is Tracie. I'm a bored minister's wife. I live in a TINY town in TX. I love my husband, son, and Dr. Pepper. I love to cook for my husband but not my son because he usually spits it out. Punk. We spend a lot of time at church because as I already said my husband is a Minister. We are still young and like to do fun things, though we never have the time to do it.
